When I was is college, I was in the mood to go to the movies and no one was free to go with me. So I looked at what was playing and decided to pick something that was only mildly interesting to me to save better movies for when I went with a friend. So consequently, I spent the rest of the month trying to convince my friends that they needed to go see Slumdog Millionaire. That was one of my better movie viewing experiences, going in completely blind, on my own in a nearly empty theatre watching a movie I had no expectations for that ended up winning all of the awards for being super good.
But yeah, I enjoy doing things solo sometimes. Movies, dinner with a book or podcast, walking through the city/park, going for a long bike ride or drive in the middle of nowhere to just trying to explore and get lost somewhere. It's relaxing and peaceful.
