Gosh, and those poor megacorps that bought up units by the thousands. Won't someone think of the c-suite bonuses? If things keep up as they are, they might even have to sell those units back at reasonable prices. How sad...

That would be the ideal case. - making sure that the obligations that come with providing living space are always equivalent to the rent, while mandating to operate efficiently.

Which actually is simply a non-profit. Prohibit renting out apartments and houses if you aren't one.

(those bastards at blackstone would shit themselves when confronted with such legislation)
