Our delegation met Cuban workers, doctors, teachers and artists who keep the country running despite the growing hardships imposed by the U.S. blockade.
We visited Cuba’s Latin American School of Medicine, which has trained thousands of doctors, including over 100 from Palestine. We also met with CENESEX to learn about Cuba’s fight against homophobia and transphobia, and with Deputy Minister Carlos de Cossio at @CubaMINREX
The resilience of the Cuban people inspires us, but we also saw firsthand the hardships they face. From blackouts to shortages of basic goods, the U.S. blockade grips daily life, and things are worsening as sanctions tighten and Trump beats the drums of war in the region.
We return more determined than ever to end the cruel U.S. blockade and stand with the Cuban people as they fight to build a brighter future for their country. Special thanks to our partners at @cubamistad and @AmisturCuba for helping make this delegation possible.

yeah seems like a good message this time, only kinda ehhhh they didn't seem to meet more with the government but also I could see Cuba only wanting to schedule something with a deputy minister given how they acted last time

Yep, but I like to see it in a broader context. As the largest "left" org, how the DSA at a national level postures around socialism and AES countries is a good indicator for actual class consciousness in the Statesian working class. The DSA coming to better politics signifies a shift in the broader working class.
