That honestly suck considering they are Google's pet with the search engine agreement.
Very much agreed. I don't think Firefox should take some high moral stance and reject Google money, but they need to develop alternative ways of getting funded, and cut irrelevant spending! That way they can actually start loosening Google's stranglehold on them
