So a complete fixation on how the image was generated, and not the actual content and context? Okay.
TBH, I found this one on the 'net somewhere, and it *did* resemble an earlier (probably better) cartoon I'd seen, but the message is indisputable. And relevant. And timely.
But yeah, the idea that people can be so utterly freaked out upon AI-aided material lends this strip an even richer irony, don't you think?
So put in a modicum of effort and go find the admittedly better cartoon.

The issue is not with the message, which as you point out, is good. The issue is with the delivery of the message, which in many ways perpetuates the exact thing this message is complaining about.
It's a bit like stenciling "Black Lives Matter" on your Klan robes

Yes, I understand that I screwed up in terms of not choosing perfectly non-AI material to share. That's my bad. In truth I'm late middle-aged, with plenty of health problems, and wanted to share something useful for the day after coming back from the ER.
So I scrolled through my little archive of potential posts, came upon this one I thought relevant, and tried to pick a saucy, relevant title that fit the times. Bonus pts if you look at my post history, in which I always try to do a good job explaining context & relevancy, and am very much NOT an 'AI slop' type of person.
So a bit of AI happened to be involved because I slipped up. Okay. And here's a suggestion to get the fluff over yourself, dude.
Pro tip: No matter how old you are, it's never too late to learn how to apologize.
Bad: "It's not my fault", "I was upset", "I didn't do anything wrong", "my tummy hurt", etc and so on.
Good: "I'm sorry, when I did X it [upset/disappointed/hurt/etc] you. I shouldn't have [punched/licked/posted/etc] the thing. Going forward I will be careful to [de-escalate/social distance/double check/etc]." and then do as you said.
Going aggressively on the defensive only makes you seem like more of an ahole. Everybody makes mistakes, but not everyone learns from them.
