Mildly enjoyable vibeslop if you ask me
The idea is enjoyable, the slop is slop. They could've just spent a couple minutes drawing stick figures - it's not a tough concept to portray even with no artistic skill.
Dude... I wasn't in the best place when I posted the cartoon, but don't go off on @VibeSurgeon@piefed.social. My post was well-intended, and is relentlessly true upon many levels.
Me, across 3yrs+ I've done my utter best to post quality content across the Fediverse. You can look up every little thing I've said and posted, across all that time.
So yeah-- it was not remotely my intent to talk about AI as a whole, but... I guess I could contribute some thoughts..?
Look, the idea is good, like I said; I'm not trying to go off on anyone, but AI is a major issue and every single time someone uses it thinking it's benign, they're wrong. If we can't even collectively decide to boycott something so obviously against everyone's best interest, how can we hope to make positive change ever again as a society? Not using AI is like putting your grocery cart away at the store - it's not going to make a huge difference one way or another, but it should still matter enough to stay true to what you know is the right thing to do.
