TIL swingeing is a word, and with a very separate meaning from swinging. It just looks weird and feels like swinging should be the actual correct one but that spelling seems to be pretty specifically for the polygamous sex stuff.

Swingeing rhymes with whinging and can be remembered as likely to make the victim whinge (although it's stronger impact than that implies).
