Yep. I mean, he's not wrong that everyone has a sort of carbon copy "hike/travel" profile but that's like being a bird and complaining that all the mating dances of your species look the same. It's just a skin deep display of "I am healthy, can move around physically, make friends, and make enough money to do luxury things". Dating app profiles look the same because everyone is trying to present themselves as sexually fit in the same ways.
But that doesn't mean everyone is the same, and you'll find out half the people are faking it. So many "love to travel" but provide pictures of their one vacation 7 years ago, and would struggle to try to again. Or actually hate the physical exercise of the hikes they show pictures of.
It is kind of a bullshit game but it's just an aspect of how we're basic animals doing little mating dances for each other, and some can't hide that they're not "normal" and struggle a fuck ton on these apps. They try to be the weird honest ones but just end up advertising they're broken.
