This is a place to share greentexts and witness the confounding life of Anon. If you're new to the Greentext community, think of it as a sort of zoo with Anon as the main attraction.

Be warned:

If you find yourself getting angry (or god forbid, agreeing) with something Anon has said, you might be doing it wrong.

You'd really like to think so.

But a 4.0 GPA will get you a job basically anywhere, because managers assume you're a quick study. Sub-3.0 means they think you're lazy or hard headed. When you're skating near 2.0, you can have a degree in Rocket Science and recruiters will just assume you sucked at it.

Worked at a tech company that was hiring anyone with a 3.5+ from Data Scientists to English Lit majors. Then they just throw everyone into New Hire Training and gave them a coding crash course. The English Lit kids didn't do any worse than the STEM crowd on the tech side. And they were way better at collaboration, documentation, and delivery.
