It's actually quite difficult to get into a well paying trade, all the apprenticeship programs run on nepotism and then you usually still need to go into business for yourself to actually make a living, and they're all absolutely saturated since they started pushing trades on millennials and z twenty years ago. Trades are the same gamble as conventional college anymore. There just aren't any available jobs.
