I really really really hope that when this is all said and done, every single one of these people face consequences. And we all know what consequences the people want.
Just like the Nazis!! Oh wait USA has pardon most of them, specially in Japan (They're still in power)
Over 70% of the government of West Germany in the 1950s was made up of Nazis. De-nazification literally never happened anywhere except the USSR. The USSR even had to build a wall in Berlin to keep the Nazis from coming over and fucking with things.
The USSR put plenty of Nazis in power. The problem they had was that there were a lot of Nazis or Nazi supporters. It's hard to say how effective the USSR's denazification was, they didn't let us see a lot of their data at the time. Looking at the map for AFD support though, I'm not sure it has as long term of an effect as it should have.
