Hey transit folks! 👋 Canada is still the only G7 nation without high-speed rail, and Ontario's support for Alto HSR is on the line.

We launched a petition urging Ontario to stay committed to HSR, drop unnecessary YTZ airport expansion, and offer fair financial stakes for affected farmers.

Also don't forget to email Ford and your local representatives. Tell then you support this project and let Ford know you are not a "small fringe group".

Ford called Ontario voters a "small fringe group". Ontario voters were the ones who voiced their opposition to the expansion of Toronto's waterfront airport. The federal government dropped its support for this project because Ontario voters told the federal government government to do so.

Now Ford wants to drop support for high-speed rail in Canada because he did not get his runway for his private jet.
