What agenda am I pushing?
I've been through most stages of computing. I remember being a wee lad with 5.25" floppies.
There isn't much I haven't experienced.
What they did was not close. Not even similar. They're playing a game from 2009 on a HDD. It doesn't require much.
Storage is expensive. Wasting money on equipment that will leave you disappointed isn't what most would want.
Spinning rust is fine for most games on a second drive.
If you really cannot live with a 500gb HDD for $30 you can a 500gb SSD for $60 which is still cheap. 2nd hand they're practically free.
Also its not just league of legends, it also plays Rainbow six siege its really not as bad as you are making it out to be.
Here is where you are pushing an agenda on them. They aren't defending storage prices they are sharing their personal experience with a solution they offered to OP
