The ball is already rolling. Reddit has done more to make people aware of Lemmy than we could possibly do ourselves. But more than just making people aware, we also need to teach people how to actually sign up and use lemmy to find their communities.
And we also need to donate because I'm kinda worried about the infrastructure if this thing really takes off. We might need many more instances with beefy hardware to support new users
