If that x86 emulation works okay, that's another nail in Intel's coffin.

Someone from Valve mention FEX in the Gamer's Nexus video, so that must be it. Also Digital Foundry quoted someone from Valve as saying that "it's the start of SteamOS for ARM, and they were excited to bring PC content to ARM devices in the gaming world."

Somewhere in one of these videos they said that the emulation has about 20% CPU overhead, but I can't find that exact quote right now.

So that sounds pretty promising I'd say.

It works great on my m1 mac with asahi. I'd say it's already pretty mature.

I saw... I think it wad the LinusTechTips video on this where he mentioned specifically FEX.
