I have never used. But apparently GPT 4o is (was?) great at sycophancy. Now OpenAI have started routing emotionally loaded queries to GPT 5 which is emotionally detached. So these people are losing their AI companion.

How is it these days? I imagine it is still sycophantic but not to the extent it was before.
