I wonder why the cell phones went offline immediately? Remember when the cspan message said landlines only. I know the hive doesn't need cell phones anymore but they sure went away quickly.

I wonder if the hives thoughts get disrupted by 5g. That would be a funny twist. Also they are gonna need some plot idea's going forward on how to deal with the happy little hive when it get a little more non human.

Every zombie is inside their homes waiting for instructions. Also you don't need a phone when you're inside everyone's brain all the time.

Yeah I said the hive didn't need it but they switched off the mobile networks immediately and told her on cspan landlines only. Of course they knew she had a landline. Their link needs some medium to propagate in. Of course it could be some scifi subspace that they are linked by but more likely it would be some spread spectrum electromagnetic type of link.
