i don't believe isreal is going to last forever, but i do believe that it'll be around long enough to make its actions normalized to the point of acceptance like it's some sort of "necessary evil" at worst or something regrettable but so entirely intellectual that i can be easily dismissed because "it was in the past" at best. examples of the latter are best demonstrated by the dismissals of reparations by the united states and south africa or the socially enforced silence of the lasting impacts of franco's spain.

i foresee a diet-isreal like entity replacing isreal that's aligned w the same forces that created isreal and it still gives the palestinains the wrong end of the stick, but w a wafer thin veneer of equality; like the americans, canadians, australians & new zealanders do to their native populations today.
