If you're looking for something like unwrapped, I don't think it exists.
For the stats and a nice experience, you've got Roon obviously, but that's kinda pricey
Plex tracks some data and still doesn't need the syncing since it's a server based model
I've never used it but there's a foobar2000 alternative for Linux called Deadbeef, that'll probably do it
I prefer QuodLibet but I'll check for Deadbeef again, thanks.
If you can make your own plugin I'm pretty sure you're good with deadbeef.
There's also MPRIS and e.g. playerctl
There's no feature parity - deadbeef devs have never intended for it to be an alternative to foobar2000 - but it's pretty good and versatile and might offer what OP needs.
I had no idea about foobar2000, so I'll have to take a look.
