People think online platforms are overflowing with toxic and misleading content, but the reality is far calmer. A small group of highly active users creates most of the harm, while the majority remain relatively civil. Still, many Americans assume the worst about each other because of this imbalance. Correcting that belief can noticeably improve how people feel about society.

If you want you could check out this article, a bit old from last year I just dug it up, a sihk leader was assassinated in Surrey, BC. Highly political as the Cdn gov accused the Indian gov of being involved. I lived there for a bit, it has one of the poorest "postal codes", like a geographic mailing area, in Canada, but everybody's driving Lexus and Audis. This ended with the gang trademark of a burning vehicle.

Canada is a land of immigrants, but there is a large white national contingent growing. I could tell you lots about the indigenous here, nowadays there's a gov Truth and Reconciliation committee, they have a big voice in the media, there's lots of social problems among all races here, including racism. My granddauters are Metis, which is an ethnic group that has recognition by the gov. I spent quite a few years working with some indigenous people as a labourer, and there's lots of news about reconciliation. You can look up info on Canada's residential school system too. In Winnipeg they've been digging up the dump looking for missing indigenous women, its ongoing right now.
