Also Linux generally had better 1% lows, lower RAM usage, and lower CPU usage. A big part of this is that AMD no longer updates the Windows drivers for the RX 580.

Idk how trustworthy this youtube channel is, but crazy to think the RX 580 released in 2017 and the 8GB version was ~$230 lol

Yeah. Had the 480 8GB and in December 2016 it was running 250. The 580 was basically the same GPU with some minor tweaks and changes plus faster clock speeds.

My stepson's system was using it with ChimeraOS (similar to SteamOS) until there was some driver issues then upgraded it to a RX 7600. If they didn't have the issue with the drivers it would probably still be chugging along.
