I recently read, from Γ‰douard Louis, Who Killed my Father, and Collapse - which I reeeally recommend. I also bought James Baldwin's Giovanni's Room and Another Country and I'm looking forward to reading them. I quite enjoyed Everything for everyone by M. E. O'Brien and Adbelhadi. It's set in an imagined communist future and a big part of it is the queer experience.
