Also, they don't want the dumb masses to get smarter. They control the media, so promoting media literary goes against their evil doctrine.
seriously, anyone who travels extensively for work or whatever else know exactly how the USA is setup (let alone just reads a fucking history book or two).
united my ass, it's a bunch of disconnected fiefs extorting their working class. where the locals have caught on the local barons price out their poors and ship in cheaper labor from the global south (or just shift it overseas and import).
