Visually it is spectacular. Parts of it takes place in The Grid (which is a world within a computer) and parts take place in the real world and again the visual effects are spectacular in both. There was some really amazing scenes with the light cycles in the real world.

The sound track is not nearly as good as the first two Tron movies, but it does have it moments. There are a few great tracks in it.

The characters are just one dimensional cliches…

Clearly Disney is trying to set up a franchise with this thing. I doubt it will. The elephant in the room is Jared Leto as the title character. He pretty good in the role.

The movies is a D- and unless you are a big fan if the franchise skip it.

I'd skip it even being a fan. Aside from the member berries its hot garbage. Flat characters, everyone is a CEO except for Ares who is a statue. Yet, somehow, the most relatable character at the same time. None of the cast returns from the previous films but Jeff Bridges and he plays a spectre of Flynn basically.
