Welcome to AltMedia House.

I founded this community to assist in the democratization of media by promoting voices that are suppressed in mainstream media publications, especially pro-Palestinian voices.

This community is 'AltMedia' in the Mearsheimer and Walt sense. Not the Richard Spencer sense.

This community likes John Mearsheimer, Stephen Walt, Alison Weir, Edward Said, Rashid Khalidi, Ilan Pape, Norm Finkelstein, Noam Chomsky, Grant Smith, Chris Hedges, Robert Scheer, Ray McGovern, Larry Johnson, Col. Lawrence Wilkerson, Col. Douglas MacGregor, Max Blumenthal, Anya Parampil, Alastair Crooke, Chas Freeman, Prof. Jeffrey Sachs, Aaron Mate, Phil Giraldi, Matt Hoh, Karen Kwiatkowski, Kevork Almassian, Chief Dennis Fritz, Craig Murray, Scott Horton, Andrew Napolitano, Ali Abunimah, Nora Barrows-Friedman, Jon Elmer, Asa Winstanley, Daniel Davis, Nima Alkhorshid, Pascal Lottaz, Seymour Hersh, Glenn Greenwald, Krystal Ball, Saagar Enjeti, Jeremy Scahill, Ryan Grim, George Galloway, Tucker Carlson, Thomas Massie, John Kiriakou, and everyone proximal to this group.

One of the problems with the 'oil theory of geopolitics', that US foreign policy decisions are driven by oil interests, much favored by many on the left and apparently the right, is that oil companies really don't like instability. Which is why I've always favored the explanation that US geopolitics is driven more directly by Israel's security concerns, via its strong lobby.

Sometimes it doesn't seem like US policy is even worth explaining. The US is a monstrous military hydra and it's many heads have different motivations and goals. Why did the US kidnap Maduro? Because on some day in December, the presidential brief told Trump that they could... Why could they? Because the US has a team working on undermining whoever could be remotely construed as an enemy or even a competitor. The wicked never rest.
