Overview:
Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. This community is where we discuss the various different vehicles and news stories regarding electric transportation.

Wasn't blocked for me, but yeah it was like 4 x's to read the article.
Here's their so summary at the top. Key Insights
EV battery lifespan: Most EV batteries last 15-20 years, with an average degradation rate of about 1.8% per year under moderate conditions.
Impact of charging methods: Frequent use of DC fast charging can accelerate battery degradation, especially in hot climates. Level 2 charging is gentler on the battery.
Best practices for battery health: To extend EV battery life, keep the state of charge 20%-80%, minimize exposure to extreme temperatures and limit fast charging when possible.
Why are they focusing on just the battery? I know people with Tesla model 3's on the original battery but the 4th motor.
Teslas are much more likely to be bricked by a dead computer module, touchscreen, or motor failure.
It's the bit people freak out about and need reassuring about.
Because the article is about batteries and charging. The article is not about Tesla and baby hippos.
