I think memes like these are planted by Republicans to make Americans who are actually fighting for America to be seen as un American.
Ice protesters need American flags everywhere. They are the true Americans. Those protests where Mexican flags were flown gave Republicans political capital to continue.
Fuck America, it's an evil country and fuck any patriot/nationalist shitheap who fights for it's flag.
To be fair, the people in that country are not born to be less or more evil than in the rest of the world. The country is just in a different stage of brainwashing. And ... okay, what's wrong is the country... After all, the whole history is full of genocide, racial segregation and exceptionalism. That's not the people, that's the system best referred to by the name of the country...

Yeah, I realized as I was writing my comment that indeed the best summary of what's the problem is the country / "culture". So even if many people (including myself) will initially misunderstand, you phrased it correctly (imo).
