First of all, it's a really good show. Thornton is at the top of his game and the rest of the cast are just as good. Ali Larter is off the rails and off the charts as the craziest hot chick in Texas.
Actually, there is no second. It's a fun show full of horrible people doing stupid stuff because they are crazy and greedy. It says in the article that the actual Petroleum Propaganda Agency took out an ad denouncing it.
I started watching out of boredom. Thornton plays an even more degenerate version of his character in Bad Santa.
Even watching with no background or expectations, I wouldn’t say it’s propaganda. It’s consumable media, not a docu series.
