I wonder if they might not even try. When like 1/3 people are dark skinned and the vast majority of them are citizens it's going to waste so much of their time. Until they drop the pretenses anyway and just start blatantly and deliberately deporting citizens.

But at that point, to paraphrase trump. They're gonna find out why abq has a neighborhood called the war zone.

I fully foresee them trying to "re-colonize new Mexico" by harassing all the browns and moving white people there
