sounds like its time to make google employees a "vulnerable group" who fear being outed publicly for their fascist shit, too
That sounds like really unproductive antagonism to be honest. If I remember right lots of google employees have been very publicly unhappy and causing problems at google about the state of things and it will take a lot of time and effort for a meaningful amount of people unhappy with things there to find other places to be, and all the other major tech companies they're qualified to work at and who are most likely to pay them similarly are also fascist co-conspirators
Folks shouldn't work for fascist companies, and at the same time if your family and morgage are depending on your income its often not a trivial move.
I think if we on the left spent more time looking for potential allies as a means of political action instead of looking for more people to make enemies we'd probably accomplish a lot more. We need to build bigger political coalition and mobilize more people, not look for reasons to alienate anyone possible.
yup sorry Im all for building communities, but I have no sympathy for anyone working for google. this didnt happen overnight, add now theyre actively helping the sad excuse for trumps secret police to kidnap people.
i guess you draw the line somewhere else. does blowing up babies do it for you? helping kidnap people off the street with no due process sure, lets think of the poor, bedraggled tech bro- but surely if google starts blowing up babies am I allowed then to start calling the employees selfish and complicit, and call for radical action?
you just let me know where the line is. because apparently actively supporting an out of control police force terrorizing the country isnt far enough
:/
im sorry. im exhausted with conversations over just how radical we should be acting. and im so tired of forgiving selfish people who marched us into this mess for paychecks. literally physically and mentally exhausted with trying not to be so fucking pissed at how surprised everyone seems at how decades of complicit behavior has led to such dire circumstances
