I'm convinced the actual maga / right wing asshole numbers are on the low 20-30%, but social media and bots amplify their horseshit, which reaches another 20% who are dumb as rocks and easily influenced by bullshit emotional arguments.
That's why we're stuck in this 50% struggle with these morons.
Lately, I don't know if it's just me and my algorithm but I've found way more good and agressive progressive channels, like Secular Talk and I've Had It, people that go HARD against the right wing propaganda.
I hope it's a sign of a broader societal shift.
