Enough Musk Spam

For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.

No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.

Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.

Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.

Tesla-specific discussion can be posted here as well as our sister community /c/RealTesla.

Oh, this will be a grand success.

They totally won't get stuck in closets, fall down stairs, and step on kittens. I'm certain they won't get their hands stuck in the dishwasher rack, get lost in the garage and scratch the paint on your new car, constantly trip over the clothes on the floor and fall onto your glass table and break it. I'm sure they'll have some sort of non-lethal anti-theft device, so they aren't stolen when they go out to get the mail. And, if you think it will be spying on you as long as it's charged and turned on, you don't know Musk. Musk is a great guy. He would never do that for gooning purposes.

I didn't read the article, because why the fuck would I? I'm assuming the stupid things are meant for business. Everything I said can be easily adapted to a business setting, especially the spying part.

The Optimus death squad has been dispatched to your house. They'll get going as soon as the teleoperators finish their lunch break.

I am also sure the robots will "sometimes be led by operators for the purpose of improving reliability" which means you will have some Indian guy walking around your home and waiting for the end of his shift.
