Thanks! Yes, I'm very medieval-fairy-chic. The brush-roll-up is a classic way to keep your tips in ship-shape and your handles from snapping during transport. Lots of folks use canvas or leather, I just happen to do a lot of felting — It's a fairly forgiving, low-barrier art form if you want to try it out.
