Clark is as naive as they come.
it's incredibly easy to have a hit pop song though...it's a formulaic genre almost by definition. Shit the KLF made a guidebook for that decades ago down to the timings and everything, shit still works to a T
Axis of Awesome explains it very well in the Four Cord Song. As I musician I laughed and laughed because holy shit do they hit that nail on the head.
Well there's a reason he doesn't spread Kryptonian technology to Earth (writers don't want to think about the implications)
