It feels more like a toy project that snowballed fueled by ideology and get-rich-quick schemes.

Yeah, the limited transaction rate is just the most obvious factor that indicates it's a proof-of-concept that got way out of hand.

Crime is actually the only use-case for cryptocurrency that I support. If only there was one without all the downsides.
