Wouldn’t surprise me. These plastic lawn people are lacking in grey matter.

What's wrong with it aside of the shitty look? It is still better than concreting the whole front yard.
I could write many reasons but if you can’t immediately see why laying out sheets of plastic over sand and gravel is worse than a lawn i don’t think it’s worth arguing.
For what it’s worth I’m not sure it is better than concrete.
