Can anyone recommend a bluesky instance without censorship or age verification that I can sign up to, that is federated with the rest of Bluesky? Thanks! (sh.itjust.works)

Bluesky does not have instances. It's an enterprise-architecture "solution" that almost nobody can (probably intentionally) host all of. The AppView in particular is difficult since it requires terabytes of storage and is likely to keep growing and it is also one of the components where they have done some moderation actions in the past.

Only one even close to providing a full alternative is Blacksky with their budget approaching $100k/year but even they don't have their AppView running in production yet.
