Black men were allowed into our political environment 50 years before women. I'd like to think we'd have a woman elected president before 2058, but wouldn't be surprised if it didn't happen. I think that's a major reason Hilary lost, no one really expected trump to win in 2016.

It doesn't contradict what I said. The majority of people back then thought a black man would never win rather than thinking it is harder. Since at least 1970 that was the dominent mentality that makes even people who really want to vote for a black man not voting for one.

You just need the right person in the right timing. Right now is the perfect time dissatisfaction for Trump and the republican party is huge. The wrong person is definitely Newsome
