I know, archive today|is|ph is really good at circumventing paywalls and there aren't really any great alternatives that work as reliably, but they're literally running malware. Archive.org is the Internet Archive/Wayback Machine, which is different from the service you are talking about that is using CAPTCHAs for DDoSing

edit: never mind, I misunderstood, archive.org was not being conflated at all
