Lol. Insane project structure. I suppose this is vibe coded? Or why write a bazillion lengthy shell scripts to do simple stuff like erase the flash... Or compile the project and assemble everything, re-inventing cmake in the process... when it'd be 10 lines of code with the ESP-IDF or Platform.io?
Does it work?
And why is every crab project homed in on Telegram? I'd like a simple Web-UI.
And mad respect for sticking with the curl to bash ๐ 9000% unnecessary to spare someone the effort of typing 'git clone' and 'sh install.sh'.
Yeah, I have immediate distrust in the security of projects that suggest installing with
curl | bash.Yeah. It's supposed to be 'apt install ...' or git clone, configure, make, make install.
I would assume so, so code quality might not be up par. I would also prefer Signal or Matrix as messenger: Btw. there is actually also another one that does the same: https://github.com/memovai/mimiclaw
Ah, thanks! That has a way more sane project structure. Though Telegram as well.
And seems they don't have a lot of tools? Isn't OpenClaw hyped because it has access to the command line, a Python interpreter etc? IMO it'd be way more unhinged in the way OpenClaw is, if they used MicroPython on the ESP32. I'm just not sure if AI is clever enough to write MicroPython instead of regular Python snippets. And not do silly stuff with the amount of memory available.
Good joke. Sure, the ESP is fine with 150mA. While the Anthropic API calls rip through $100 and a small village worth of electricity ๐
