I want to use animated stickers (webp extension) but it doesn't work, any idea?

Ostia... on my mobile this file was a webp, after uploading here it has been changed to apng... maybe it's a apng with the extension changed, because the size is exactly the same, so doesn't seem a conversion... thanks!
the file likely have .webp extension in your device, but extensions are meaningless, you can rename any file to .webp but that doesn't make it a webp, the file was named with .webp extension but in reality it was an animated png, when you uploaded it here probably this site figured out the mime-type and changed the extension of the uploaded file accordingly ๐
The extension change happens when i download the file from signal stickers site, it's detected as webp file despite being an animated png, I've download several stickers and it's a common problem. I can convert it with imagemagick but then increase the size of the file
mmmh in my experience animated webp is much smaller than animated PNG
