I did eventually lower my height on Bumble to 5'11" just to slim out the limited few who wouldn't date short. But I got more than one asking this question, and that's just a little weird. It's not like they walk into date 1 with a tape measurer. I in fact learned the hard way to remove quite a few things from my profile to not give off the wrong indicators. I'm rocking a dad bod, bald up top, so weight and super model looks are not what I'm judging against. Plus it would so look so awkward if I carried a scale /s.

Doesn't matter now, I'm in Spain and American numbers just don't matter. So far, Women here my age want a caring partner, stability, someone who doesn't sit at home watching TV when it's sunny out and most of all, compassion for fellow humans.

It's very strange to hear what people think is acceptable on dating apps nowadays. Glad your experience in Spain has been positive. Hope you find the right person.
