most of google's money comes from ads that everyone already blocks, giving black people away to the gestapo, and blowing up brown people; the upper bound of slacktivism was when stadia failed, i don't expect gamers to suddenly firebomb AI data centres

This is a very small part of alphabet revenue. At the end of the day, Google is still a search company above all else.
define everybody, as evidently the ads are still shown to someone. also gmail and youtube. same goes for meta and instagram/whatsapp.
The android Google ships on pixel phones is also full of ads.
It is? I have a pixel and I don't think I've ever seen an ad pushed by the os.
If swipe on my home screen I get articles that are all just ads.
