Many would describe them as Communists, or at least socialists, including, presumably, themselves.

We might as well add Trotsky, Lenin, Castro, Mao, Hoxhua, Guzmán, Luxemburg, and maybe General Secretary of the Communist Party of Kampuchea, Pol Pot.
