Zuckerbeeg is a creep mf like how James Doakes put it.

I always wanted to delete my Instagram account, I don't really have FOMO, nor am I addicted to doomscrolling but literally everyone else I know either uses WhatsApp or Instagram to text me.

Unlike America nobody uses iMessages or whatever to text, so naturally it's mostly WhatsApp. Everyone in my school though it's  a different mess.

Phones aren't encouraged in schools here so we rarely take phones to school so the teachers won't make a scene out of it, so. Whenver you wanna contact somebody they just say Text me in insta

I hate it, Everyone texts me in instagram, I have a matrix bridge to just view and reply to my messages but I don't think I will be ever happy until I delete the Instagram account.

You can say, they aren't real friends or I shouldn't care about it but tell me how the duck can I convince my parents or grandma to text me in signal instead? Moreover, I'm gonna lose in touch with a lot of people who wouldn't know how to contact me otherwise if I leave Instagram

This just feels like a trap, I really want to leave it but Oh my GOD, the social networking aspect of a social networking site holding me back :|, I will figure it out I guess.

At some point a few years into the future you can be that interesting person people install Signal for.

I told multiple people that I don't reply on social media. Approximately 70% of them installed Signal and the rest will just call or SMS me.

I was only on Facebook because i had it from almost the beginning.

It's interesting that it generated the feeling that it is important and closing account you will lose something very valuable.

You have that feeling until you actually pull the trigger and them you realize that you never needed it. It is all addiction, Facebook just sends content that is triggering you. The greens that you worry that you might lose contact with it, majority you never talk with, the others there's so many other ways to connect with.

Facebook is just cancer.

I have a little red notebook that has everybody I care about's phone numbers and addresses and email addresses in it in the drawer in my kitchen. If you aren't important enough for me to go get the little red notebook from the kitchen, then I probably also don't care if I can contact you ever.

Hey friend, I know the address of your red pineapple off by heart. Don't worry, I won't doxx you, of course.
