There is no credible evidence I have ever done anything of this nature, it is a conspiracy and disinformation.

A witch-hunt?

This is where Putin comes in handy actually, and this comes back to Assad. Assad followed this antiquated Cold War model of accepting foreign investment, viewing it as a threat to sovereignty. China understands that accepting foreign investment needs to be a deliberate, hyper-regulated process. Centering agriculture mechanization and constructing heavy industries while carefully balancing competition, forcing firms to conduct R&D projects the west would never consider. The Kremlin sees this, they sees the success of China's mutualistic foreign development model that lifts up poorer nations in the same way and turns them into better trade partners (a solid goal for true intl. relations falling short of internationalism but better than pursuing "national interest"). Even India sees this.

Ok, but someone's going to get jelly (which is the point, I suppose).

China's industrial expertise is the foundation of Russia's war strategy, the western startup model that of the Ukrainian drone program (the closest they have to an industrial war strategy).
