So these are all the Aussie benefits? When they say "XX,000 tonnes access",.that's our farmers access to EU markets?

What's the other side of the coin? Ie what access does the EU now have to our markets?

tariff free cars from the EU

and access to rare earths they were denied in the past (for some reason) and I'm not sure how that is even a thing , I thought Lynas mined in Aus and refined in Malaysia was the only Aus company but i saw access to rare earths for the EU mentioned in a other article.

Refining rare earths is toxic af.

wish we'd set up a framework to join the EU as part of this, anything that brings people together is a good thing IMO.

I was hoping for discount Proscuitto di Parma, Jamon Iberico and $2 Dom Perignon 😒

The funny thing about the reduced Luxury Tax on the European cars is that it applies to all other manufacturers as well. That won't help them compete against eg, the Chinese offerings.

I'm coming across as being a bit negative, but I think and hope it ends up being a big positive for both sides.

And maybe it is the second step of us joining the EU. The first step, of course, was competing in Eurovision 🤣
