I'm not "Christian" but I grew up Catholic and fully believe that the guy they called Jesus was a good and upstanding guy. When I comes down to it, yeah dude was right on and I would follow Him. Not the Pope. Not Paul, who was the author of Jesus. Not the other people who claim to speak for Him.

I think that original Jesus was such a good guy, none of the modern word would be acceptable. His followers have to answer for this.
