Islam certainly has its flaws. Extra restrictions for women and a pedophile as a prophet, for example.

I mean, christianity isn’t really better in that regard. Traditional christian beliefs for women rights are pretty shit and Mary was like 13 when she had Jesus.

All religion is shit. They just try to convince you that their specific blend of shit is the one that will get you an eternal reward.

in Islam modern women have it way tougher now.

Depends on which islamic country you're in and which specific blend of islamic thought you follow. Same as christians. Compare the wahabbis to the southern baptists. Or you can compare liberal christianity to liberal islam.

Just like the world itself most denominations don't just follow one train of thought. There are many different beliefs and tenets depending on how you interpret your chosen fairy tale.
