I swear half of the rock genre is about getting cucked. Every 2000s rock group and was 4 middle aged dudes singing about their wife cheating on them

Nah, Rockabilly at least has a tone of doing something, having agency (or drowning your sorrows in a drink, so there's the country angle).
tfw "being cheated on (consensually)" has somehow developed the same meaning as "being cheated on (nonconsensually)"
